Samsung recently published the Galaxy A27’s product page on its website for the Czech Republic, inadvertently revealing the phone’s design and features ahead of launch. However, the company removed the webpage shortly afterward, suggesting that it was published by mistake.
Galaxy A27 has a more power-efficient chip and runs One UI 8.5 out of the box
Based on the images, features, and specifications listed on that webpage, the Galaxy A27 features a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. The phone uses an Infinity-O display design, an upgrade over the Galaxy A26’s Infinity-U display. It also features a side-mounted fingerprint reader and stereo speakers.
The upcoming phone has a 50MP primary camera, a 5MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP macro camera on the rear. On the front, it features a 12MP camera for selfies and video calls. It supports up to 4K 30fps video recording using both its primary rear camera and front-facing camera.
It is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor, an upgrade over the Exynos 1380 (or Exynos 1280 in some markets) used in the Galaxy A26. The phone comes with 6GB of RAM and either 128GB or 256GB of internal storage. Storage expansion is possible via a hybrid microSD card slot.
The Galaxy A27 runs Android 16-based One UI 8.5 out of the box and is expected to receive six generations of Android OS upgrades and six years of security updates.
The phone also appears to support Samsung DeX, at least based on the information that briefly appeared on the published webpage. If accurate, it would be a major upgrade over previous Galaxy A series phones. The Galaxy A27 is powered by a 5,000mAh battery and supports 25W fast charging.
It features GPS, 5G, LTE, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. It is 7.7mm thin, 164mm tall, and 77.5mm wide.
Samsung appears to have downgraded the phone’s ingress protection rating to IP64, which offers dust resistance and protection against water splashes. In comparison, the Galaxy A26 carried an IP67 rating, offering significantly better water resistance.
Galaxy A27 pricing in Europe, colors
It will be available in four colors: Black, Blue, Light Green, and Pink. The 128GB version could be priced at €349, while the 256GB version could cost €439. Those prices represent an increase over the launch prices of the corresponding Galaxy A26 variants.
